Meet your coach
Robin has spent more than 25 years teaching tumbling, both as the owner of private gyms and as an instructor and coordinator for schools, clubs and parks departments.
She found the sport in third grade in Los Angeles, watching Olga Korbut at the summer Olympics do routines nobody could believe. She started practicing what she had seen, and classmates started copying her. Most of them could not afford other instruction, so Robin began teaching them herself. That was the whole career in miniature: she realized she might never be a champion like her idol, but she had a talent for teaching kids who could be.
Thousands of kids later, her walls are covered with their photos, and plenty of them still recognize her around town years afterward.
